Membership goal step one – 250 members by 2020

To serve teachers, in Education District 1 schools through luncheons and appreciation,
12 schools by 2020, leveraging our volunteer membership -
3 fundraising events per school year that can fund things like: lunches, coffees, food pantries, community garden efforts, nutrition education, social-emotional and positive discipline advocacy, parent empowerment through school leadership engagement and literacy outreach
Objectives

Advocate on the local and state level for teachers and students.

Reduce family, community and school barriers to education delivery.

Participate as a community partner and networking resource for Community Achieves site managers, Community In Schools site managers and Family Engagement Specialists.

Provide more viable, welcoming and nurturing experiences for our educators, parents and students at all levels

The goal of this membership and partnership is to positively impact our community schools and
students by providing tools, resources, volunteer and financial support through various businesses,
organizations, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
We seek to provide pathways for
collaboration between your organization, our community schools and students within school district 1.
